10th April 2013 - Austria

Roy and I have just returned from a seminar on fractured families hosted by the Austrian government & the Neo Nazi Youth Brigade. The convocation was held in Josef Fritzl's home town of Amstetten for reasons of a humanitarian nature & in place of the annual beer fest. The distinguished and slightly inebriated Chairman from South Sudan, Ngoni Lozmamarbles, an extremely vocal exponent of flogging and homophobia in his home country, let it be known, chaired the convention with the dexterity & grace of our own President Zuma when on the dance floor of the royal palace in Ulundi during the annual reed dance. The bigoted Ngoni had taken over the chairmanship a few days earlier when Riyadh's current executioner, Abdullah El-Sura Al-Slica Ma Sheikhs Koporf, had stepped down from the honorary position after announcing that he unfortunately had a double engagement with his sixtieth execution of the year in downtown Suleil where he was committed to beheading half a dozen Bengalis caught in a brawl whilst on a pilgrimage to Jeddah.

The community of Amstetten had been struggling to recover from the horror and trauma of the Fritzl saga. Most people in the quiet neighborhood had been amazed at the revelations from his captive daughter, Elizabeth. Fritzl himself appeared a seemingly likable man whose duplicity had become the focal point of the fractured family symposium with Ngoni drawing inappropriate comparisons, admittedly usually in an alcoholic haze, with Josef Mengele's varied experiments on other peoples' children.
Josef Fritzl
Although both men incarcerated their victims, in all fairness that was about as far as any comparisons could be drawn. And the relocated refugee scenario was hardly one to parallel the atrocious & self-gratifying behaviour of a monster like Fritzl in a quiet hamlet like Amstetten. Meanwhile after a conference recess, Ngoni was last seen downing Johnny Walker Blue whiskies at a recently opened lap dancing bar for orphaned teenagers & swinging on the dance floor with a colored fifteen year old lass seeking political asylum from neighboring Yemen, while slurring his way through the Elvis classic, "Viva Las Vegas".
